According to Michigan State University Extension’s Stress Less with Mindfulness program, a person has between 70-80,000 thoughts a day. 90 percent of these thoughts are ones we have had before, and 80 percent of these are negative.
So there we sit at work. Innocently processing our average person’s 5000 thoughts per hour, while speaking 1000 words or less.
What percent of our negative thoughts do you imagine go unspoken?
If you are working in a company that employs 50 people there are over a million unspoken thoughts circulating in your workspace daily.  When you dip into your little reserve of 1000 words, are you communicating effectively?
